Maintaining your BJJ attire doesn’t stop after washing—it’s equally important to store it properly.Without the right care, your brazilian jiu jitsu outfit can develop unpleasant smells or even mold, especially in humid environments.

After washing, always air-dry your gi or Rash Guard completely before folding it.Never leave damp gear inside a gym bag,as trapped moisture encourages bacteria and mildew growth.Hanging your BJJ attire in a well-ventilated area or under the sun is the best way to eliminate residual humidity.

Use natural deodorizers like charcoal bags or silica gel in your storage area. These absorb excess moisture and help keep your brazilian jiu jitsu outfit smelling clean. If you train often, rotate between two or more sets of attire so each one has enough time to dry fully between sessions.

Avoid storing your BJJ attire in sealed plastic bins.Instead, use breathable fabric bags or open shelves that allow airflow. For long-term storage, make sure the gi is completely dry and folded loosely to prevent fabric damage.

Proper care and storage not only keep your bjj attire fresh but also extend its lifespan—ensuring your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training remains hygienic, comfortable, and professional every time you step on the mat.
